B. Collection and storage of personal data when you visit our website

Below we will inform you about the processes relevant to data protection that take place when you access our website.

1. Log files

Every time you visit our website, we automatically collect data and information from the computer system you use to access the website.

The following data is collected:

The data is stored in the log files of our system and deleted after 3 months at the latest. This does not affect your IP addresses or other data that enables the data to be assigned to you. This data will not be stored together with your other personal data. The legal basis for the temporary storage of this data is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Both the collection of data and the storage of data in log files are absolutely necessary for the provision and operation of our website. Therefore, you have no opportunity to object.

2. Cookies

We use so-called “cookies” on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your computer system when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer system and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

We use cookies to improve our website, for example to make it more user-friendly and to adapt it to user interests.

3. Website analysis

We use the “Google Analytics” service on this website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

This service allows us to create pseudonymized usage profiles and use cookies (see B. 2.). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

(2) Operating system used
(3) Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

may be transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. These servers are operated by Google Inc., USA, so that a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. An adequate level of data protection is guaranteed through the use of standard contractual clauses from the EU Commission within the meaning of Article 46 Paragraph 2 Letter c) GDPR. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of you. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymized so that assignment is not possible.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting the browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case not all functions of this website may be able to be used to their full extent.

C. Advertising measures

We operate marketing activities on our site.

(1) Google Ads

We use the marketing service “Google Ads” on this website. This service is provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

This service gives us the opportunity to place advertisements about our content more precisely and to evaluate them in line with your interests. This is done through the use of cookies (see B. 2.), which are stored on your computer system if they have come to our website via an advertisement on Google (so-called conversion cookie). This makes it possible to track which page you were redirected from. However, the service does not aim to identify you personally. Your data may be transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. These servers are operated by Google Inc., USA, so that a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. (2) Facebook & Instagram

For this we used an advertising measure from the Facebook network, the so-called “Facebook pixel”. This applies to the “Facebook” and “Instagram” networks. This is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. This is a script (“pixel”) that we use on our website. If you visit our website at the same time as the Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. website. are logged in, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. recognize that you have visited our website. This allows advertisements to be more targeted and therefore more relevant to interests on the Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. network. are displayed. Tracking measures are carried out for the purpose of optimizing and evaluating our offering. The processing of the data mentioned is necessary to protect our legitimate interest in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, i.e. H. the conduct of our business activities.

D. Third Party Content

We use third-party content on our website.

(1) Youtube

This includes embedding videos on the website that are stored on the YouTube platform. YouTube is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When you play one of the embedded videos, your IP address is transmitted to Google. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be assigned to your YouTube user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video). Your data may be transferred to a server in the USA and stored there. These servers are operated by Google Inc., USA. An adequate level of data protection is guaranteed through the use of standard contractual clauses from the EU Commission within the meaning of Article 46 Paragraph 2 Letter c) GDPR.

The data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, i.e. H. the optimization of our offer and our products in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

(2) Social plugins

Our website also uses functions of the Pinterest network. These functions are provided by Pinterest Europe Ltd. with registered office at Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. If you are logged into your Pinterest account, you can link the content of our pages to your Pinterest profile by clicking the Pinterest button. This allows Pinterest to assign your visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Pinterest. You can contact us electronically by email or using a form on the website. In this case, the data that you send to us will be stored by us.

This is about:

(2) Date of contact
(3) Your email address
(4) If necessary, further data if you provide it

If you write us an email or use the form and are interested in our offers, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b GDPR.

This data transmitted to us will only be used to carry out the conversation and will not be passed on to third parties.

We will delete this data if it is no longer needed for the respective purpose. This means when the email exchange with you has ended and we have fully processed your request.

You have the option to revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time. Please use the contact options listed above. In the event of a revocation, all of your personal data that was stored for the purpose of contacting you will be deleted.

F. Processing in third countries in general

Unless otherwise stated above, your personal data will be processed in countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) exclusively on the basis of the legal requirements in accordance with Article 44 of the GDPR. In the present case, this is exclusively the case either on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission (Article 45 GDPR) and/or on the basis of suitable guarantees (Article 46 GDPR).

G. General storage period

In general, personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of data collection or to comply with the respective legal retention period. Once the purpose no longer applies or the deadline has expired, the data will be deleted.

H. Rights of those affected

To the extent that we have processed your personal data, you are the data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and you have the following rights towards us:

(1) Art.15 GDPR – You can request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can obtain information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a Right to complain, the origin of your data, if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information about its details.


(2) Art. 16 GDPR - You can immediately request that incorrect or complete personal data stored by us be corrected or completed.


(3) Art. 17 GDPR - You can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is carried out to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert or defense of legal claims is necessary.
(4) Art. 18 GDPR – you can request the restriction of the processing of your personal data,

  • if you dispute the accuracy of the data,

  • if the processing is unlawful but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims

  • or if you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.

(5) Art. 20 GDPR - You can receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or request that it be transmitted to another person responsible.


(6) Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR – You can revoke your consent to us at any time. This means that we are no longer allowed to continue data processing based on this consent in the future.


(7) Art. 77 GDPR – You can complain to a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or place of work or at our place of business.

I. Right to object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, provided there are reasons for doing so. which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which we will implement without specifying a special situation.
